FULL DESCRIPTION:[/color] It isn't too hard to see that Mika is a warrior. While not the burliest of men he is still athletic and strong. Like any he has a bit of a collection of battle scars. Not all of his scars are from fighting however; he has the traditional vampire scars on his long fingers and scars on his wrists that could come only from self-harm from his human teenage years. Mika is very pale, even for a vampire. He has cold dark eyes, long jet-black hair, and always wears black clothes to match. No other color has ever been seen on him. Although by appearance he looks like he's still in his 20's he's already starting to have frown lines as he does so much of that.

PERSONALITY:[/color] That is hard to tell. Mika almost never shows positive emotions, preferring to put up a dark mask of indifference to the world. Sarcastic, cold, cynical. He is a strict upholder of the vampire ways and can come off as very stern, but even he tries to be fair. Inside, he is for the most part nicer than he appears. He will help people as long as he is not credited for it. Brave and loyal, he is a fierce warrior and will go to any lengths to defend the vampire clan. Mysterious and cunning, he plays his part well, and many people aren't sure what to think of him. However, his loveless past has made him hard and bitter. Like any vampire he will do anything and go to any lengths to get revenge, fiercely upholding old grudges.

Although no longer weakened by depression in the same way he was as a human, he never smiles and often carries an aura of a thunderstorm with him. One glance is enough to tell you that he isn't someone to mess with. He is cold and reserved, but anger can get the better of him. Mika has lived over two and a half centuries but that is still very young in vampire terms. He's a respected Vampire Prince but even he still has things to learn, and sometimes acts impulsively or recklessly without thinking it over. If you tell him to relax and lighten up your words will be wasted. He spends a lot of time sulking and almost always comes off as angsty and gloomy.

HISTORY:[/color] Mika was born around the year 1735 in what would become America. The Ver Leths were once very wealthy, but fell from grace during his time. He was treated harshly by his parents, even for that era. As a young teenager, Mika fell into depression and self-harm. Forced into the human army, he would have gotten killed even if he didn't kill himself.

But then came the night that changed everything. Being stopped while walking past the woods alone. Offered an 'escape'. Desperate as he was, Mika didn't fight long. He was blooded as a vampire's assistant. He soon found that his new life wasn't much better, and there were people he missed, but it was too late to go back. When he became a full vampire he abandoned his mentor and set off alone. He made a good impression at Councils, however, and soon his loyalty was fixed to the vampire clan. He accepted his place as one of them, as that could never be changed. At least there was finally someplace he belonged. Someplace he could make a name for himself.

Reckless and wanting to prove himself he threw himself into fighting again, this time on the side of the vampires. He was successful and ended up becoming a vampire General. He never lost his gloomy nature, far from it, but he now had something to fight for. When nearly two centuries had passed, he was made Prince. Unpleasant though he might be, there was no denying that he was a worthy vampire, and that they could use the balance of a leader like him in these dark and troubled times.
