The forest opening was silent, but Lenna was hesitant to cross the road and into the great beyond. Today was one of the first days in a long time that she had returned to humanities cities, though she kept in the shadows. It was time to return to the shadow lands of forests and wild animals, into the savaged lands. But Leena was born into this world of chaos and has embraced it ever since she was a child. But tonight something felt off, different in a sense, but continued across the cool pavement and into the trees. She and her long lilac dress disappeared between the trees ,separating herself from humanity once again.
The air was cool on her bare arms on the rather cool spring night as Leena avoided the lower branches ducking her white haired head under the trees with grace keeping her breathing low and silent. The rest of the forest was just as quiet as she was .taking in deep and subtle breaths of air. Leenas pace softened to a slow and weary walk ,feeling a body of water just beyond the trees. It seemed that humanity hadn`t touched this land quiet yet, as she broke through the trees and smiled at the glistening water ,the moon light shone like a brilliant star. But the awkward feeling hadn`t been wiped away.
The insanity has caged you and distorted your ideal world; It has implantet itself in your head. Run, child, run, as fast as you can.
You don't know who you are; you don't know what love is. Your mirror image has been distorted. Nobody here who is on your side.

The forest was the only place he could truly find peace.
It was the only place that still welcomed him with open arms. It was the only place that he could feel safe in, knowing he was loved and protected by the life around him. Even if humanity had shoved him, the forest and all its inhabitants still welcomed him. It was the only place he ever needed, because it was the only place where he was needed.
He sat in the branches of his favorite tree, fiddling with a diamond barrette he had snatched off of his latest victim. He knew it would sell for at least a grand, given the quality of the diamonds, but, for some reason, Jon wasn't quite willing to part with it yet. His father had given his mother a similar barrette for her thirty-second birthday, if he remembered correctly. She had loved it.
Maybe that was why he wasn't willing to sell it. Maybe what he really wanted to do was find where her body was buried and give it to her. It would look nice next to the maggots and worms that decorated her skeleton.
It was then he heard movement. It was nothing unusual; the forest was alive, after all. But the movement was heavy, unlike birds and deer. This sound belonged to a human, a woman if he was to be correct. Jon sat up, leaned so he could peek over the branch, onto the ground below. Yes, there she was.
He watched her quietly, eyes trained on her appearance. She was not nearly old enough to be his latest victim, and her blonde hair only put him off even more. But she was still female, and she was still invading his home. Plenty of reason to watch and be wary.
The water was calm as Leena slowly took of her shoes and slipped her feet into the water, sending a rippling effect out into the small body of water. She felt at home here, the water and welcoming feeling of the nature around her small figure. But a feeling crept its way up her body ,giving her chills and her skin gave goose bumps in reaction. At least the water was there to protect the lost girl.
Her white hair was probably seen from all around as the moon light shone off that too, Leena looked uneasily from side to side with her grey eyes but just enough not to draw attention to her small forum. Her lip was starting it go numb as she bit it ,trying to calm her nerves, she slid herself slightly more into the body of water for security. I might not even been a person of great threat like vampaneze, maybe it was just a hungry animal looking for a snack. Not that those thoughts were all that comforting.
Wiping her head around ,her grey eeyes saw nothing but darkness. Leenas imagination started to take over and she shuttered. The white haired beauty wasn`t alone.
The woman seemed to know that she was being watched, if her subtle movements were any indication, and yet she did not run. Instead, she retreated to the water. She seemed to gain great comfort from the water's gentle nature - just like the forest comforted him after every horror he forced it to commit.
Perhaps she was like him. Perhaps she could control water, embrace it as he was embraced by nature. Not that it really mattered; he had a feeling his power was better for fighting, as earth was always around. But they were not fighting. She was enjoying the lake, and he... he was merely watching her, observing another member of the much-hated female sex.
The tree he was sitting in started to move, its branches swaying back and forth as it sensed his discomfort. But Jon shook his head; the tree calmed slightly, though he could still see where it twitched slightly. Women were not something he wanted to be around, but that didn't mean he could not watch and learn more about them.
It could help him later, when he needed to catch another.
Leena was begging to get rather uncomfortable with this eerie feeling of being watched. All the fibres told her to get into the water and stay in its sanctuary until the unknown danger had passed but the curiosity of whatever it was was killing her. The murky waters at her feet began consuming her fibres of her dress before Leena wiped herself around and stared into the darkness with her grey orbs unknown to the dangers that lurked beyond.
But there was only darkness.
The comfort of the water began to wear off as her predator was nowhere to be found in the pit of darkness of the forest, but she wasn`t retreating to land quiet yet. Her face was blank, emotionless ,though slightly fearful for her life. Leena took a deep breath in to calm her nerves. She was probably just overreaction the entire situation like last time, there was only an owl watching in the distance, but even the birds peering amber orbs had off set her. Leena was over protective for nothing.
Picking up the lilac dress lightly, she waded her way back to the shoreline and let out a deep breath, her feet just in the cool water. She stood there letting the breaths of the forest reach her ears once again.
He watched the woman for a few more minutes, intrigued and amused by her reactions. She knew she was being watched; Jon had no doubt that she could feel his eyes upon her figure. But she couldn't see him; she had no proof he was there. And that scared her more than if she knew who he was. What he was.
Perhaps he could use that with his next victim.
Yes. Yes, that would be interesting. He could not physically harm his victim until 9:09 PM, but the times before that... Well, there was no rule against psychological harm. It would certainly be different, to mess with his victim's mind before he ever touched their bodies. He had never tried that before.
He nearly chuckled, but had to retain his delight. Instead, he leaned, so he was laying belly-down on the limb, and crossed his arms under his chin. A smile formed on his face as he watched her.
"You know, if you want to bathe, the middle of the forest is not the best place, my dear." His voice was cold, neutral, and clipped with a hint of Southern accent.
Leena`s chest felt heavy again she the feeling really didn`t go away. She was scare, and it wasn’t just an animal, they didn’t give her chills like whatever this person was. There was no expression on her face for fear petrified her muscles, it felt like she had been turned to stone. Bad memories began flowing into her head and the water at her feet bean to tremble uncontrollably. Fire, screams, blood. It was everywhere. Leena began trembling herself as the water began to almost roar.
Then it stopped at the voice of a man, like nothing had ever happened.
Peering in the direction of the voice, her grey eyes fixing on the location ,only seeing a soft outline of the man.”Show yourself.” Leena said, trying to make herself appear stronger than she actually looked in the eyes of the man.”And i am not bathing.” His voice sent chills down her spine, she knew something was off with him, considering he was watching her in all.
Yet again Jonathan chuckled, his green eyes flashing with interest. The trees started to shake and move, as if they, too, were entertained by the young woman below. She was so naive, the poor thing. So innocent, almost. She reminded him of a child who had wandered away from her mother and was now just trying to get home.
It made him chuckle, though he was quick to cover it up. He sat back, folding his arms behind his head and hanging a leg off of the branch. "But I like where I'm at, girl," Jonathan said in response to her previous demand, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I can see you perfectly. It's not my fault your eyes are not used to the shadows of my woods."
