FULL DESCRIPTION:[/color] Marina is a relatively normal looking girl, when she's completely dry. She stands at about 5'5" normally, and she has pale slightly tanned skin. Her hair is a wavy, long blonde color with aquamarine tones hinted throughout. Her eyes vary in shades of blue. Behind her ears are two slits, which are her gills. Once water touches her skin, she transforms into a mermaid. In this form, she has a long scaly tale, very similar to a blue fish. It has a white fringe along the back and near where her hips should be. It looks very elegant, much like mermaid princess from storybooks. During the night at around midnight, this is the form she takes, as it is her natural-born form.

PERSONALITY:[/color] Marina has a very sweet and kind-hearted personality. On the exterior, she can be very quiet and shy, known to grip the sides of her tank and peep out over it. She doesn't like it when new people look at her like she is a freak. However, she is very bubbly and enjoys a good time. She likes to draw, so that takes up some of her time. She smiles constantly, talking with fellow cirque members. She's not always the brightest, and she isn't accustomed to "land ways" yet, so certain aspects she doesn't know how to operate yet. But she's a loving young girl.

HISTORY: [/color] Marina was born in the Pacific Ocean, about 100 miles off the coast of Maui, Hawaii. From the start, she was a fish girl. She swam the 7 seas alongside her parents happily for nearly 15 years. Then, something tragic happened. During her first trip to land, her mother was attacked. Her father demanded she hid, and he pushed her into the lake. She swam to the very bottom and hid in the darkness. In the moonlight, she saw the blood splatter onto the water. At that moment, she knew both of her parents were dead. She waited there overnight, and in the morning, both of her parents were merely a bloody mess on the grass. In honor of them, she managed to get them back to the ocean and pushed them into it, knowing that's where they would want to be.

Over the course of the next week, she wandered the land, trying to find someone who could help her. This was when she discovered the cirque. She begged them to accept her, telling them about her tragic experience. This was when she learned of the Vampaneze and Vampires, as she had led a very sheltered life under water. They accepted her not long after hearing her tale. Yet at that time they didn't know what she was exactly. Then one day while it rained, a single drop hit her exposed arm. Now the entire Cirque knew, and she willingly accepted the offer of performing in the show.

It has been about a month that she has been part of the Cirque, and she is still learning many things. She performs on a regular basis, and spends most of the night alone in her tent, which is basically a couch and a large tank full of water and a pillow, along with her chest that no one is allowed to look in.
