FULL DESCRIPTION:[/color] Mickey is a tall, muscular man with strawberry blonde hair that falls to his shoulders. He never much liked the way he looked, himself, though many people have told him he's attractive. His forehead is lined somewhat, and it creases when he moves his eyebrows in certain ways. His face is beginning to show age, and he has just a bit of a goatee he always keeps trimmed down to stubble.

He can often be seen wearing dressy, nice clothes, wanting to keep his appearance up, but he wears them in a somewhat casual way. When he paints, however, he wears old, worn-out t-shirts and messy jeans, keeping his hair in a small pony-tail if it's long enough to warrant that. He can often be seen with his ferret, Gwen, riding on his shoulder.

PERSONALITY:[/color] Mickey is... complicated, at times. He's a very nice man, all-around, and comes off as polite and kind if just a bit awkward. He can become extremely protective of those he cares for, and will do anything within how power to keep them safe and out of harm, but even he will admit he can become jealous and clingy if put in the right position to be. He just can't help himself.

Because of his father's death, at least the circumstances of it, and because of how he was raised up until his sixteenth year, Mickey cannot stand to be abandoned by anyone he cares about in any sense of the word. If someone “leaves” him, he will find some way to blame himself for it, no matter what the cause was or the person involved. It's in situations like that that he becomes extremely irrational about more then a few things.

-As a vampire, he's stronger, faster, and more agile then an average human being.

Mickey is polite to a fault at times, and tries to be nice an any conversation – he doesn't like to lose his temper. He has a very strong sense about what is “morally just” and what isn't.

HISTORY:[/color] Mickey was set up to have a wonderful life.

His father had a good job; his mother was a stay at home wife. Both loved their respective spouse as much as humanly possible, and were excited when it came time for Mickey and his sister, Gwen, to be born. They had always wanted children to add to their family, and now they were about to have twins.

However, Mickey's mother died in childbirth and, supposedly, so did Gwen. Devastated by the lost of his wife and daughter, Mickey's father sunk into a deep depression, which led to drinking and neglect of the child that was still alive. As a result, Mickey grew up dependent on his friends and the ferret he had adopted. The ferret later turned out to be his sister, whose "freak" power enabled her to remain alive so long as her brother was, just in a different body.

When Mickey was sixteen, he discovered his own "freak" abilities: hydrokenesis and telepathy. He began to train his abilities in secret, not wanting his father to discover what his son was; he also kept Gwen, or who she truly was, a secret from his father as well. However, the stress of his father's neglect and the added strain of his abilities became too much and, one night, Mickey snapped at his father before leaving to hang out with his friends.

That night, his father committed suicide.

Mickey blamed himself for the death and became more and more dependent on those he cared for, even after moving in with his aunt. He lived there until he was eighteen, and then move out, to take up an apartment nearby and paint for a living. It was his favorite hobby, and he was good at it.

But then, when he was out visiting his aunt, he stumbled across someone gazing at his work in the art gallery. The man commented on it, and the pair began to talk. Before long, Mickey learned that the older gentleman was a painter as well, and could offer him tips. They soon became friends.

Then he offered Mickey immortality.

The man became his sire, and Mickey his assistant. Within time, Mickey became a full vampire, and left him to live out his own left as one of the night. Even now, with the full perks of a vampire, Mickey sometimes wonders why he accepted his sire's offer of the night and its gifts, but does not contemplate it long. What is done is done, after all.
