It seemed like every time something was amazing, things went awry. Like when she met Altair, and they shared that amazing night together. She'd only been able to get away from the insanity that was called the Cirque Du Freak once after that, between setting up and tearing down tents, to performing, to Drake's mind set that woman get married with a dowry.
But none of that mattered tonight, Drake was out feeding and the new Trapeze Artist said she would cover her chores tonight. Since there wasn't a carrier pigeon around and the Telepath highly doubted that Vampires had addresses, she sent one of the eldest little people with a simple letter, "Altair, meet me in town. I miss you. - Yours forever, Bijou"[/i]
As she rested against the wall at the edge of the small one horse town that faced the one single road out or in, she felt her heart flutter. Bijou pulled on the sleeves of her shirt, cursing her self for not grabbing a jacket. But it didn't matter, she gets to see her Altair.

Altair was eating to the hall when he heard the pitter patter of footsteps coming in his direction. He looked up thought he knew he heard the sound before the body could come into view. He watched as a little person entered the hall and he heard the hall get silent. A little person was entering the hall. He watched as the little person conitnued walking in his direction and Altair got up and waited. The little person had something in his hand and when he came to Altair he handed it straight to him. Altair took the letter and opened it reading it quickly and his heart started pounding. It was a letter from bijou his love his woman he had to leave at once.
He turned back to the little person to say thank you but he found it still holding its hand out. Altair chuckled and turned to his bowl of food and handed it to the little person. "Thank you little one." Altair turned and walked out of the hall he walked as fast as he dared through the halls wouldn't want to get in trouble for running. As soon as he left out the gate he was running and when he was out of the cave and down the mountain he flitted to the cirque. He slowed down when he could see bijou down the road. He walked with a smile on his face.

Bijou felt the beautiful race of familiar thoughts, static filled yet perfect in her eyes. With a grin she looked up to see Altair walking towards her, her heart raced in her chest. She couldn't help it, she ran into his arms. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she breathed in his scent. "God, I missed you." She whispered the words into the crook of his neck, loving the feeling of his thoughts mingling with hers.
It was perfect, the moments that she had him by her side. Bijou would do anything to be with him, and that very idea shook her to the core. But she didn't care, she had learned to live in the moment, and right now was a perfect one.

Altair watched as Bijou ran towards him and he stopped. When her arms wrapped around his neck his wrapped around her waist and he swung her around once and held onto her he squeezed a little tighter careful not to crush her. Her words warmed his monstrous cold heart he honestly felt bad having all the love again. He had been filed with so much hate more so lately than normal. His thoughts started growing darker by the second. Did he really deserve her he was so bent that it didn't seem right that such a sweet girl could even begin to even like him yet stand him. Sure he had been nice as well but more so he was swimming in his hatred and most times didn't pull out of it.
"I missed you too I really did." If Altair could have cried he might have let a tear fall. He was so deep in love that he was so confused. He knew that he loved Bijou but he was sure he didn't deserve her. Yet at the same time he would do anything to be with her he would give her any and everything she asked for he would protect her with his life. He was lost he'd never felt this kind of love before. He'd thought he'd been in love before but nothing compared to now. Was this really happening? Was this just a dream? Would he wake up to be alone and empty again without his mentor to guide him?

Bijou felt her heart skip a beat, Altair's thoughts for a moment were nothing short of darkness. It made her think of those long nights where she woke up screaming with tears falling down her face, her mind for that brief second before Drake was there to draw her back to reality was trapped inside the horror of a repeating nightmare. It seemed like there was nothing but fire.
Yet lately it was nothing but the memories that she cherished. She fell asleep thinking of her first love, of Altair. He swung her in his arms and she grinned, as soon as she felt her sneakers hit the ground she stood on the toes of her feet and kissed his forehead. "Are you alright? Altair, be honest." Bijou balanced her self on the heels of her feet, the very taste of his name on her lips made her heart race.

Altair was brought from his thoughts when he heard Bijou's voice again. He stopped knowing she heard all his thoughts. There was no use saying he was fine. "No not really I just can't believe that I even have you. I've been so heartless but here I am with you in my arms I don't deserve you. Is this real?" Bijou's kiss made him feel slightly better and he could open up now but his thoughts were still the same. The goddess he held in his arms right now was the thing he wanted most. "Do you really love me?" Altair couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth he'd said them without thinking.
He was actually questioning her love he instantly regretted even thinking that. But at the same time he searched her eyes for the answer. Was this true love? He figured this had to be a fantasy. His life to a landslide and he ended up with the most precious thing in the world.

Bijou felt as though someone had ripped her heart out of her chest and stomped on it, she hated hearing that he was in pain. Yet she couldn't believe this was over her, it was Bijou who didn't deserve him. She was just some rouge telepath who had lost her lifes memories save the past year.
It was instinct to her, yet she hated searching his thoughts like that. He was so afraid that what they had wasn't real, that it would disappear like the sun at night. She looked him straight in the eyes as she unhooked his hands from her waist. Bijou took a step back and pulled on of his hands up, placing it gently on her chest so he could feel her heart that wouldn't stop pounding. Her free hand instinctively laced her fingers in his.
She took a deep breathe, "You're an idiot." She laughed slightly, "Every breathe I take, every beat of my heart, it's for you. Don't you realize that? I'm in love with you, Altair. Forever and Always."

Altair felt her hands pull his arms away and for a second he thought she was about to reject him harshly. He steeled himself to be hurt and broken and he prepared himself to feel the hurt. But the feeling didn't come instead it was replaced by his hands feeling a fast vibration. It was her heart it was thudding against her chest and the vibration were being sent into his palm. Her heart called to him but it wasn't the blood it was pumping that called to him. He wasn't that hungry yet he still had time before he should feed again. It was her heart calling to his he was feeling her love call to his heart. Vampires didn't fall in love like this to often.
They lived lives too long to care to settle down so early nor could they reproduce kids. But Altair was sure he was feeling his love for Bijou. Her words rolled around in his head 'Forever and Always...' She was his and he was hers. Their emotions were one if one was hurt the other was hurt. They were intertwined in the deepest love Altair never thought was capable. He accepted her telepathic power and let her into his mind. She acccepted he was a vampire and let him feed from her before. "Bijou I love you too I really do. I would give you the world if you asked me I'd end the world to be with you." Altair held onto her hand not wanting to break contact with her. This was what he wanted for eternity this right here right now. He wanted Bijou's love forever.

Bijou didn't even notice that she was biting her bottom lip, a nervous habit she had picked up. She could feel his thoughts soar into her, his never ending love. She went to grin, accidentally cutting the inner part of her bottom lip. Bijou winced, not expecting it. "I really should stop doing that." She muttered under her breathe. Loosing her free hand from Altairs, she automaticly pressed her fingertips to her mouth, only to realize she was bleeding slightly. Bijou glanced up at him, realizing he might have an issue with it. "Sorry, I know how you guys get around blood. Drake just about pounced some poor stage hand when he cut his wrist on accident."

Altair could smell the scent of her blood leap into the air and swirl around him. He just leaned in slowly and kissed her lips and licked it once. The taste of blood was satifying and no doubt he would want to hunt later. "Bijou I'm fine vampires don't go into a bloodlust like the vampaneze. We can control our... urge to feed. My vampire saliva should heal that cut up in a sec though just to be sure. I haven't fed in a while and I might not start pouncing on people but I'll get cranky." Altair let out a soft chuckle. Altair quickly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer and leaned into her neck. "Unless you wanna be my meal?" He nuzzled her neck and held there taking in her scent the one he missed so much.
Bijou smiled into the kiss, trying not to pounce on him herself. She felt her heart beat faster when Altair pulled her closer to him, he was so amazing. Bijou could feel her face turn red as he nuzzled into her neck. It was so wonderful, being held in his arms like that. "Hm, that could be arranged." Her mind automaticly thought of the last time he fed off of her, it was amazing. Being able to sustain another person, to feel their very soul, it was astounding. She loved, and had a feeling that she was just as addicted to him as he was to her.

Altair could hear the thudding of her heart increase the blood bumping through he veins was coming faster. He could feel the low throb of her major artery in her neck. He kissed her neck quickly and pulled back to look into her eyes. "Bijou you don't have to do this for me I can go out and hunt instead you don't need to do this again." Altair didn't want to make it a regular habit that he need to come to her whenever he needed to feed. He didn't want her to fall into that pattern either for in the long run it would start to affect her body in different ways. He hadn't been told the actual consequence but to be wary of it. A few times would be OK but it shouldn't become a regular habit or he'd end up hurting her. Humans felt light headed when they lost a little blood anyway he wouldn't want know what would happen.

Bijou was never one to get caught up in moments, most of the time she knew exactly what has going to happen as soon as someone thought to it. Yet with Altair, things seemed so different. He was impulsive, and she loved it. It was something she hadn't had the chance to experience-and remember-so it made her drawn to Altair even more. Bijou didn't mind at all letting him feed off of her, but he was more cautious about it than she was. "Love, I don't have to, I want to. You embraced the fact that I tend to know everything a person thinks at every moment, so why can't I embrace the fact that your a vampire?" Bijou had always known that people are insecure about themselves, and those around them. It was what made her want to be a more accepting person, she was slowly learning that what people truly believed and what they abruptly thought were two completely different things.

Altair stared into the eyes of his persistent little telepath and sighed and shook his head. "Once more but this will be the last for a while your body needs to take a break even if your mind thinks otherwise. I know how to find other sources of food you know I've had to the past few years. Even if you want to show me how accepting you are I know you accept me for what and who I am I just want to steer clear of the consequences." Altair chuckled lightly and shook his head again. "You know you can be a little stubborn you want to." He briefly had a flash back to when they first met and his smile grew wider and he knew she could see what he saw too. "I don't know how you lured me in like that but I guess I'm stuck with you. Not that I mind to much your pretty good company." He could feel his hunger rising slowly he actually needed to feed so he could get back to his training soon. Though he wasn't so sure he wanted to leave Bijou just yet. He didn't want to lose his strength or miss too many days of training. He make an exception this time he knew he would have to return at dawn anyways unless there was some cloudy weather. He always prayed for cloudy weather he'd be able to stay out during the day which was always exciting for him.

Bijou grinned and kissed him, she felt the wonderful spark every time. After a moment she broke the kiss, breathless. "I know my own limits. Trust me, I can be pretty resilient when I want to." She said with a light laugh. The Telepath knew that she was pretty stubborn, and the memory made her grin. "It wasn't that hard you know. You were standing in the middle of the tents like a kid who had run away to join the Circus."
Bijou knew that he was worried about his training, but she didn't mind. She knew how it was to want to gain strength, she herself had experienced the same craving and still fought with it today, after all she wasn't always in control of her powers.
