Anya Whitlock stood in the gaming hall. She was here at Vampire Mountain for business, but she wanted to loosen up for the day before really going ahead and doing her job. She knew deep within herself that she shouldn't have left her apprentice on her own, but Anya felt like this would be an adventure to Danille. She only wanted the best to be learned for her "Adopted Daughter" just like her family would have wished. Walking fully into the hall the female General looked at the bars. It had been awhile since she had been on them.... or in Vampire Mountain for that matter.
Even though she was a General Anya had not came to the last Counsel since she was dealing with Danille and the incident that had happened to the half-vampire's family. That is why Anya had came here was to catch up on the lost news and reminisce before returning to her role as Master. The blond also knew that she would have to come to the next counsel to show the Princes Danille. She has yet told anyone of her new role, but she knew it wouldn't be long before someone found out. Walking up onto the bars Anya grabbed a deserted staff and weighed it in her hands. It felt right and that made the female smile.

It had been some time since Mika had played the games in the gaming hall and not just done his duty to watch. However, at the moment he might have been walking in to do either; there were few vampires around to bring any interest to the latter. Now that he had proved himself he stayed away because the games weren't always his favorite thing to do, unless someone challenged him and therefore needed their ass kicked. But there was a flaw in that. Vampire Mountain, and staying there day after day, was so horribly boring that even he was getting restless. There was nothing else to do.
Upon moving through the entrance, the Vampire Prince walked slowly across the deserted room. Well, not entirely deserted; there was a vampire alone by the bars. He vaguely remembered one of the few female vampires, and a General at that. Well, if she was looking for an opponent then why not at least make the offer. He came to a stop near the row of staffs behind her. After a moment of watching her in his usual haughty, sullen manner he got round to speaking. "So. Are you looking for a challenge?"
Anya turned around with a soft smile played on her lips at seeing the Prince. She gave a slight bow out of custom for respect. "It has been awhile since I last been here. I figured I could use a challenge"She told the dark haired vampire. She picked up a fallen staff and tossed it to her challenger. It would be nice to fight a component worthy of her skills. Plus she needed to have a warm up back at the mountain.
The blond held her hand and grabbed her own staff before easily jumping onto the bars. With herself being slender then most vampires she was able to quickly balance on them. For the fact that she was female helped out emancly. The bars are one of her favorite games, and missing the last two councils she did miss them greatly. Anya knew that it wouldn't be long before someone asked where she had been, and it wouldn't be long before someone knew of her apprentice. Let alone she had a plan on telling them when the time came. "How have you been, sire?"She asked him.

A slight smile may have graced the Prince's face in return, or at least he allowed himself to look a little bit less furious than normal. He didn't know exactly how skilled the female vampire was but it might be good to do this again. Anything was better than sitting in the Hall of Princes trying not to fall asleep at the ongoing speeches of the others. "Alright then." He easily caught the staff she threw to him.
The dark-haired vampire raised an eyebrow at the conversational question. "I've been just great." His usual sarcastic self would not desert too easily. Although he wasn't any worse than normal; everything was fine actually. Mika gave a soft grunt and with that, swung himself up onto the bars after her. He was far too practiced to be unbalanced easily, and stood steady on his end.
Anya nodded with a small smile at the Prince. In a way she was glad to hear that everything has been alright for the other vampire. It couldn't be any fun having to constantly be trapped in Vampire Mountain. Anya was glad to be back but there wouldn't be any way she could stay as long as any of the Princes have. The blond balanced easily with her staff. She shifting to a starting position and raised her staff showing that she was ready.
"It's good to hear that this old place hasn't gotten on your nerves"She spoke with her smile still held in place. Anya was one of the few that was never phased by Mika's coldness or sarcasm. No matter what very few things could really phase the blond.

Usually when Mika found someone who could stand to talk to him, it only made him want to work harder to piss them off. Right now though, he didn't care either way. Probably because he was bored, and this place hadn't just gotten on his nerves because it was eternally on his nerves. He had to admit that he was a bit rusty at the bars game, so he'd let Anya go first or start it or whatever. Any time was fine; it was nearly impossible to catch the most agile Prince off guard. "Everything gets on my nerves." He copied her and raised his own staff to communicate that he was ready to play too. They were here for the game and not just to talk after all.
Anya nodded at the Prince's statement. She was quite aware of the Prince's attitude towards everything and everyone. Having the personality that she has Mika's personality really didn't affect her. Seeing that he got in the same stance as she did Anya took the hint that he wanted her to go first. Her smile slipped from her face as she leaped forward swinging the staff in a diagonal slash.
She was just trying to warm up and wasn't trying to knock the Prince off the bars. Anya then did a slight twirl bringing the staff sideways. Not once did she falter in balance. It felt natural and fun to be back on the bars. Even though it seemed like she was just going easy... she wasn't in reality. Most of her Vampire force was behind each swing. Anya didn't want the Male Vampire to think she was going to be easy to beat.
